The tile underlays are infinitely height-adjustable and can be adapted to any tile cutter with a variable height of 41-65mm and a diameter of 100mm. Recommended from a format of 60x60cm, as the support arms of tile cutters are simply too short and practical and usually provide too deep a support. If smaller pieces are cut, the tile protrudes far out of the cutting surface and is therefore not well supported, tilts and does not lie cleanly on the cutting surface. This also means that a clean cut cannot be made with even cutting pressure. If the tile does not lie cleanly and parallel on the cutting edge of the cutter, this results in undesirable breakages.
Tile or wedge pieces are usually used on the construction site, but these either slip constantly or are not the same height as the cutter. The underside of the tile underlays are rubberized to ensure greater slip resistance.
